I like the art style. I'm going to have to keep an eye on this game.
Good. No more Vonage commercials with that lame ass song.
F.E.A.R. is a damn good FPS. I got it on my 360 when it came out. I'd definitely recommend it to any PS3 owner who hasn't already had the chance to play it. The single player campaign is one of the best I've played in a long time.
I couldn't have said it better myself. Talk smack about my government all you want. I don't support it more than I have to by law, as in taxes. But don't talk as if their views are our own. I could bring up the fact that the Brits were firmly behind us all the way...but then I realize they weren't, only their government was.
These guys need to think before they speak or else they'll end up like overrated...with 2 bubbles spread across 2 accounts.
They said none of that was needed...and none of it is. If some people want it, they react to that market. I remember them saying that HDMI was not needed but if there was enough demand they may support it, and they are. By no means is any of this needed to play Xbox 360 games in hi-def. It's just that enough people make a mountain out of a molehill over it to make it worthwhile to support. I swear they're damned if they do and damned if they don't.
Does it work when playing BC games? On Xbox Live when you play BC games it logs you off XBL altogether unless you're playing multiplayer, which is the one time you wouldn't be able to download in the first place.
Unless they water down the difficulty, anyone who hasn't played this already will find out what we talk about when we say this game is HARD. I knew a guy who couldn't even beat the first boss on the easiest mode. Of course that was on the original version before NG Black came out with an easier difficulty. BTW in easy mode on Black they'd make you wear a pink ribbon to show that you were playing on easy. Every game should do that.
Yeah I just replied to the other one and then realized this one had more comments so I came in here instead.
A fair comparison, perhaps. When it comes to a "true" comparison, you look at what it's competing against NOW. Consumers aren't going to wait a year after something comes out on XBL before they download it just because that would make it fair for Sony. Current time comparison is the only true comparison.
Going by current top 10 downloads, most are demos. Def Jam Icon, Ridge Racer, and Motorstorm demos are the top 3. Other than some more assorted demos, you've got Gran Turismo Concept v1.1 and a downloadable Sudoku game.
Other things worth mentioning on the PSN store are the games Tekken 5 Dark Resurrection, flOw, Blast Factor, Gripshift, etc.

I'm officially jealous.
I don't remember anyone complaining about Mercenaries 1 being set in North Korea. Then again I wasn't paying attention back then either. Does anyone know?
So Mart jumped on you the other day for posting an article that has a title clearly biased toward the PS3. Then today he jumps on you for posting an article stating that an article is unbiased. I read it and it's about as unbiased as these things get. I guess he'll only leave you alone when you find a PS3 review that states that the PS3 is inferior to the 360.
I think this is exactly what is going on. It's what I'd do if I were Sony.
But then again lately Sony has rarely done what I'd do if I were Sony so maybe not...
Koei should make more games in the vein of their old school Nintendo games. Anyone ever play Gemfire or Uncharted Waters? There were plenty of others as well, but those were the 2 I played.
Kinda looks like one of the bad guys from the newest Batman movie.
This game may be similar to GW (same genre) but it's almost the same as a lesser known XBLA title called Mutant Storm. For example, this game has actual levels. Comparing this game to GW is like comparing Call of Duty to Quake. Yeah, they're the same genre, but I'd rather compare COD to Medal of Honor.
Hate all you want. Sales speak louder than haters.
The 360 side of me wants to say "At least we'll actually have some games to play on our network."
The PS3 side of me says "My free PSN would totally kick ass if I had some more games to play on it. Make it worth the extra $200."
The Wii side of me says "Why aren't you spending money on me anymore?"
The rest of me tires of fanboy BS.
The boxart for the preorder box at my local Game Crazy doesn't even have the Grand Theft Auto part. Just a big white IV on a black box.
